Remote Design Service

At Storylines, we know that face-to-face consultations are not always possible or practical, but we’d still love to work with you to create beautiful interiors that make you smile. Our Remote Design Service allows us to do just that, giving you access to personalised interior design to create a space that tells your story. It’s perfect if you live outside Yorkshire, or are unable to, or prefer not to, meet in-person for whatever reason.

A standard package has been developed to keep things simple, but the process ensures a personal service allowing us to design specifically for you.

Here’s How It Works…

1 – GETTING TO KNOW YOU

The first step is to get to know you and the room you want help with. You’ll receive an easy-to-complete questionnaire to help us understand your practical requirements, likes and dislikes, and project budget. We’ll need photos and measurements but your Welcome Email will guide you through everything you need to do. We’ll set up a Pinterest board so that you can share your inspiration with us too. Once everything is received, we’ll book in a 1-hour initial consultation via phone or video call with Caroline to help finalise your design brief.

 

 

2 – INITIAL DESIGN CONCEPT

Now for the exciting part! After the initial consultation, Caroline will start work on your design. Within 7-10 days, you will receive an Initial Design Concept and layout via email. This will bring together furniture styles, colour and finishes to show you the overall look for your room. We’re sure you’ll love it, but we provide a further 30 minute consultation via phone or video call to discuss the concept and layout, providing the opportunity for any tweaks before we get to work on the full design.

 

 

3 – THE DETAIL

We then work up all the detail of your design and finalise the floorplan. Once complete, you will receive (by email) a Final Design which also includes floorplan, a full shopping list of furniture and accessories (we usually provide 2-3 options for most items) as well as set-up instructions so you know exactly what to do to bring your design to life.

4 – IMPLEMENT & ENJOY

Over to you! You will now have everything you need to create your new space. It’s time to put your feet up and enjoy your new room!

Pricing

Our Online Design Service costs £650 for a standard sized, single function room (excluding kitchens and bathrooms). We are happy to discuss pricing of other projects so please do get in touch. If you require additional design support outside of the package then this is charged at an hourly rate of £65p/hour.
